Creating an email campaign is a 4 steps process. Details for each step are metnioned below.
Step 1: Creating a Draft
Login to Growlytics Dashboard.
Go to Campaigns > Email. You will see a list of all email campaigns.
Click on "Create Email Campaign" on the top right corner of the email list page. You will be asked to give the name to the campaign.
Enter the campaign name and click on the "Create Campaign" button.
Step 2: Provide Basic Campaign Details
The first step of the campaign is "Basic Info". Here you will need to provide general information about the campaigns like campaign name, etc.
Campaign Name: Provide the campaign name for your reference.
Campaign Send Time: Specify when you want to send the campaign. Use "Start Immediately" to send the campaign immediately when the campaign is published. Or use "Start Later" and provide the scheduled date and time to send the campaign messages.
UTM Tracking: Specify UTM parameters to be mentioned in the links when customers will click on links inside campaign messages.
Step 3: Specify Target Audience (whom to send emails?)
In this step, you can specify to who all customers you want to send campaign messages. There are 4 options to specify whom you want to send campaign messages to.
All Customers: With this option, you can send emails to all the customers.
To Segment: With this option, you can send emails to customers who belong to a particular segment.
To Custom Segment: Use this option if you want to target a specific set of customers without creating a segment for them.
To Static List: With this option, you can send emails to customers who belong to a particular static segment.
Step 4: Specify Email Contents
You can specify a personalized subject line, from the name, email preview text, reply email id, and email provider. Click here to know more about how to personalize the email contents.
There are 3 ways you can build email contents:
With Drag & Drop Editor: Use drag & drop editor to quickly build really nice-looking UI. Click here to learn more about using drag & drop editor.
With Normal Text Editor: If you want to send a simple text email, you can use a text editor and draft email contents.
Using Custom HTML: If you have designed the email outside, you can directly use that HTML as well with this option.
Step 5: Review & Launch Campaign
This is the final step of publishing the campaign. You can review the details specify at each campaign step and you can launch the campaign.
